Image
"To live is the rarest thing in the world.”     It all started in July 2010, when I came into the world. And how my life become the best life, I could possibly ask for. Apart from that, my name is Jessa Mhay Lazo Argel; you may ask, "why Jessa?" Well, a fun fact about it; it was the female version of my father's name, Jessie. Anyways, I am fifteen years old, and also a native from Fuerte Caoayan, Ilocos Sur. Not to mention, my love for dancing, singing, and studying too.      As referred above, my life is the best. Ever since I was a kid, I enjoy dancing, it feels like pleasure. However, behind those happy memories; I am just a simple, shy girl who gets anxious over new things. A girl who is embarrassed to talk to other people, a girl that gets awkward on a new environment, and a little kid who is afraid of failure. Another fun fact about me is that I am clumsy, knocking out every single thing, and fall on the smallest things. Regardless of h...

“Hunger is not an issue of charity, it’s an issue of justice.” — Jacques Diouf Every year, in the month of July— Nutrition Month is being celebrated to raise awareness about the critical role of proper nutrition in our lives. The theme: “Food at Nutrution Security, Maging Priority! Sapat na Pagkain, Karapatan Natin!” It is a call to action, telling us to eat nutritious food is not a privilege, but a human right. It challenges us to look beyond personal plates and reconsider that larger issues of food security and malnutrition that affects our communities and especially our country.  In order to have that food security to be a priority.  Make a reflection of what hvae you experienced and accomplished for the First Quarter following the guide questions; A. What are the learning/discoveries that I have gained? - Within the first quarter, I learned where the Internet originated, when it is found, and when did it connect to the Philippines. I also learned about who contributed to the internet. How blogs were made, the different types of multimedia, how to get access on the internet, and the different types of domain names and levels. These topics which are seem new to me made learning this quarter more fun and engaging. I excelled on every test, or quizzes.  ‎The National Clean-up Month is an advocacy proposed every September in order to maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the whole community.   Participating in this kind of advocacy contributes to the well-beingness of the whole environment. It secures the safety and provides protection in order to maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the whole environment. Just like in the photo, sweeping up water puddles; within this small act, we can already save lives. Imagine water puddles can cause people to slip and fall, and even cause water-borne diseases, like leptospirosis and even dengue if worse.  ‎Sweeping, and cleaning up trash. These simple actions can give contributions to the proposed advocacy in painting the cleanliness of the community. It helps us maintain and secure the safety of all living things especially, humans. These small acts can save lives.  ‎To summarize this proposed advocacy, the National Clean-Up Month wasn't just an activity but an awa...
