City Of Caoayan: A city ful of hope, faithfulness, love, and life for all locals and tourists.

We are known to be a native of our country, Philippines. Within this country, they are regions and provinces. Now, in the province of Ilocos Sur; City of Caoayan. There are these tourist spots and popular local products that keeps the economy rich and progressive althroughout the years. Now, in this City known as Caoayan. I am a native of this city. I practically seen these tourist spots, held these local products and even tasted them. But, as for you I wanted you to know as we go through every origin, history and birth of place of these tourist spots and local products. 

This is our first tourist spot of the day. The beautiful and stunning Church in Caoayan. Our Lady Of Hope Parish Church. Now, this church was built for the Roman-Catholics in 1825— can you believe it? It was 200 years ago. This church is a part of the Archdiocese Of Nueva Segovia and follows the traditions and practices of the Catholic Churches. 

‎ You may ask, how did this became a tourist spot? This church is known for its stunning and sturdy structure. Even though it was rebuilt by the people because of the strong earthquake in 2022. It still stood strong with cracks which made her even more beautiful because of its strength in holding until it was fixed by the people. It may not be physically strong but it is in the eyes and mind of the folks in Caoayan because within this Church, it helped them see through the so-called "Bayanihan" in each other's hands. Helping each one of us, indeed. It made the City, stronger with faith and love which continues to help them to worship God and help other people. You see, it is the strength of faith within the locals that keeps their connection and faithfulness within the church. Their love for their city, their dedication to strive harder and aim a better a Caoayan for all Ilocanos.

Next we have the, Abel Iloko. We also have the Abel Iloko. The Abel Iloko also known as 'loom weaving' is made by the hands of Ilocanos. It is a traditional cloth used within the years as clothes, bag, and even just things. It is used as a symbol to show tourists how hardworking and dedicated the locals within these Abel Clothing. This is why, due to globalization, many tourists from other provinces, or other countries comes to visit in order to see these stunning and scenery tourist spots— and to buy the local products which proves the love and hardwork of the locals wherein it is an advantage for them to contribute to the economical growth. However, due to lack of raw materials and machineries. We sometimes go out of stock. This is why, it is meant to enter the international market to increase the economy and also to help the locals provide what they need in order to cope up with the globalization.

Lastly, we have the Pinakbet Farm. Now, the Pinakbet Farm is known for its stunning and beautiful scenery place— wherein the sunrise and the sunset hits it in a positive way. The Pinakbet Farm is a popular restaurant that shows tourist how rich and progressive our City is. This is also a way to show them how much we can cope up with the globalization within the hard work among all locals. Even though, many typhoons or disasters come— the Pinakbet Farm stood still as if it was held on by the faithfulness and hardwork among all locals especially, to those who works their. Now, the Pinakbet Farm isn't just a Restaurant. It is also a field of vegetable near the place for the tourist to see how healthy and progressive the place can be. And also, for them to see how clean and safe the place as well. Besides that, it also has this long river that connects to the Baranggays of Caoayan. Some locals says, it is a pathway or a road when they are disasters in order to travel safer. 

As you can see, the beauty of the tourist spots and the origin of the local products makes you wanna visit the City Of Caoayan. This is to show how hard working, how rich, and how progressive the economy is— wherein it is built the by hands of all people here and how their love for their city made the Caoayan even stronger with any other disaster came. In addition to that, it is also a way to give gratitude to the Mayor of Caoayan who leads as a friend and a leader in order for her locals to have the safety, good health and productive life within the city.
